Comparing the Prices on Hybrid Vehicles
The prices on hybrid vehicles run from about $20,000 to over $50,000. That is quite a jump in price and that is just for the standard models without any of the so called optional extras. You also need to be aware that hybrids tend to be around $5,000 more than their non hybrid counterparts. Comparisons would be like apples to oranges. The hybrid vehicle that will tend to have the lowest price will have a manual transmission which means dealing with a clutch and gear stick. If shifting gears does not bother you, you will have several options available depending on what you want to spend. Honda and Toyota have smaller hybrids available in the $20,000 price bracket, give or take a couple of thousand. On the other hand, you can go the opposite end of the scale to a luxury hybrid vehicle from Lexus to the tune of $50,000 or more. And remember, for sports utility vehicles the price tag of your hybrid will increase as well.
